Dr Bayden McKenzie | Chiropractor
BSc, BAppSc (Comp Med), MClinChiro, MPH, PhD
Bayden is a chiropractor and researcher with a strong interest in evidence‑based musculoskeletal care. He is passionate about helping patients understand their condition and actively participate in their recovery. His approach combines hands‑on manual therapy with active rehabilitation and patient education, aiming to improve confidence in movement and empower patients to effectively manage their musculoskeletal health.
His PhD explored novel and important considerations for reducing low‑value care for low back pain. This work included the development of an internationally agreed dataset of low back pain metrics that were designed to monitor progress in reducing the global burden of low back pain and improving the quality of its care (publication can be found here).
Outside of work, Bayden enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing golf, watching AFL football, and playing the guitar.
